How often, do many of the same people, who, demand some selective enforcement of specific, selective, perceived, so - called, rights and freedoms, ignore, and/ or deny realities, needs, and the overall, public health, and safety, of the rest of society?
Why has getting vaccinated, and wearing a mask, in order to address this horrible pandemic, become a partisan, political position?
Doesn't it seem, hypocritical, and/ or, selectively, opposing vaccinations, in this instance, while, predominantly, saying nothing, about the many other vaccines, which, we must take, for example, for children to attend schools, and, even, for our dogs, to be boarded, in most instances?
Isn't it strange, when the world faces the worst pandemic, in over a century (and, perhaps, ever), with so many infections, and/ or, deaths, and the same people, who demanded, reopening our economy, wouldn't want to do their part, to ensure, this could be achieved, more effectively, and expeditiously?
With, that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, 6 reasons, vaccinations, and wearing masks, make a true difference, for the better.

Even, if one is so, self - centered, he doesn't care about the health and well - being of others, and the greater good, it would seem to be common sense, to take these steps, to protect one's self, and significantly, lower the chances of getting ill, with this virus, and, if, so, reduce the severity, and risks!

Scientists tell us, the virus is most threatening, to those, who are, in a variety of ways, immune - compromised! If, we catch, or spread the virus, to these individuals, we may be issuing, a death sentence! It seems a minor inconvenience, as opposed to the potential consequences, and ramifications!
Protect family, friends, and loved ones
We have discovered, these days, most of those, severely infected, with this virus, are unvaccinated! Shouldn't everyone, assume some responsibility, and do his part, to reduce the spread?
Protect community
This virus, like many others, often, mutates, over - time, if given the opportunity, and, the best way to slow - down this process, and give mutations, no place/ host, to go/ live, is to take the public health measures, suggested by the professionals, and cooperate, for the greater good!

Save the elderly/ immune - compromised
Don't we owe it, to the elderly, and those with immune - compromised, conditions, to do all we can, to protect them, and the best way, known to do so, is to take advantage of the vaccinations and boosters, and wear a mask, when indicated (especially, indoors, in crowds, and/ or, in higher - risk areas, etc)?
Help restore us to close - to - normal
How can anyone, claim, to be a patriot, and complain, we need to get back - to - normal, and, then, refuse to be a part of the solution, instead of a part of the problem, especially, when this denial, and lack of cooperation, is based, predominantly, on, unfounded theories, conspiracy fears, denials, and politics?
Wake up, America, and do your part, by wearing a mask (when indicated), and getting vaccinated, and a booster! Are you willing to be part of the solution, sooner, rather than later?
